Susie Harries is a writer, lecturer and editor. Her most recent book is the biography of Sir Nikolaus Pevsner (Chatto & Windus, 2011), which won the Wolfson Prize for History in 2012. She has also written, with her husband Meirion Harries, seven books on 20th-century music, art and history.

 

She is an accredited NADFAS lecturer on subjects ranging from Pevsner's series  The Buildings of England, conservation and Victorian architecture to stained glass and the art of the joke.

 

She edited the issue of the Victorian Society journal on Pevsner and Victorian Architecture.
